Announced Masses
Offering Mass for a special Intention is a long-standing tradition in the Catholic Church. Masses are offered for many reasons, in remembrance for someone who is deceased, for the souls in purgatory, as a prayer of thanksgiving, or in honour of a special occasion. The stipend or offering signifies the sacrificial nature of giving something of yourself to associate more intimately with Christ who offers himself in the Eucharist. The suggested offering for a Mass intention in the Archdiocese of Ottawa is $15.00. If you would like to have a Mass said for someone, contact the Parish Office. They will help you with the dates and times which are available. The schedule of Announced Masses is published in the bulletin.
